LPG click carries an MQ-5 sensor for detecting liquefied petroleum gas leakage. The gas sensing layer on the sensor unit is made of Tin dioxide (SnO2), which has lower conductivity in clean air.
We provide a library for the LPG Click as well as a demo application (example), developed using MikroElektronika compilers. The demo can run on all the main MikroElektronika development boards.
Package can be downloaded/installed directly from NECTO Studio Package Manager(recommended way), downloaded from our LibStock™ or found on Mikroe github account.
This library contains API for LPG Click driver.
lpg_cfg_setup
Config Object Initialization function. lpg_init
Initialization function. lpg_read_an_pin_value
This function reads results of AD conversion of the AN pin. lpg_read_an_pin_voltage
This function reads results of AD conversion of the AN pin and converts them to proportional voltage level. The demo application shows the reading of the adc values given by the sensors.
The demo application is composed of two sections :
Configuring clicks and log objects.
Reads the adc value and prints in two forms (DEC and HEX).
The full application code, and ready to use projects can be installed directly from NECTO Studio Package Manager(recommended way), downloaded from our LibStock™ or found on Mikroe github account.

Additional notes and informations
Depending on the development board you are using, you may need USB UART click, USB UART 2 Click or RS232 Click to connect to your PC, for development systems with no UART to USB interface available on the board. UART terminal is available in all MikroElektronika compilers.
